Nonprofit Wants to Send People to Mars!

Something new and interesting in science today is that a nonprofit group is taking in applicants for a mission to Mars called Mars One. What they plan on doing is selecting 24 to 40 people and send them to Mars in pods of four people every two years starting around 2023. The people will be selected by having them pay a fee ($38 for anyone applying in America), then in 2015 they will have the 24 to 40 applicants selected and begin training them till launch day. The group will be getting  the money for the launches by having a reality TV show for the trainees that will from the beginning of training to the time they spend on Mars. They will receive a salary while training, but... the bad part is that once you are on Mars there is NO COMING HOME! So before you get excited about going getting paid for going to Mars, and being on reality TV... consider that you will be stuck there for life, and with people that you have most likely never met.
